FPI Threatens to Spread Cockroaches in Miss World Contestants’ Hotel
The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) strongly insists on cancelling the Miss World event in Indonesia. In fact, they’re threatening to make trouble in the Hyatt Hotel where the Miss World participants will be staying.
“We’ll stay put and collect lots of cockroaches and dirt to dump in the hotel,” said one of the FPI clerics in his car, whose speech was applauded by hundreds of its members.
He added that those actions will not violate any laws. He mentioned that there is no law article preventing others from carrying cockroaches.
“If necessary, we’ll throw some pebbles too,” he said.
As of around 16:35 PM, many FPI supporters were still gathered in front of Hary Tanoe’s office [Indonesian Miss World sponsor]. 15 of the FPI representatives were having a meeting with Hary Tanoe.
